Engineer Training Case Studies

Teikoku Taping System Co., Ltd
As our business expands, we are strengthening our training system.
Training to cultivate practical skills. We introduced Start Engineer as our solution.
Due to a sudden surge in demand, increasing our workforce became an urgent necessity, and we needed to strengthen post-hire training for both new graduates and mid-career hires. While our previous approach was primarily on-the-job training (OJT), we aimed to streamline and systematize our training as our business expanded, and therefore considered introducing e-learning. We determined that Start Engineer, which covers a wide range of technical areas, was the optimal solution.
The course covers everything from the fundamentals of mechanics and electricity to sequence control and semiconductor basics, and has received high praise from both inexperienced and experienced individuals for being "easy to understand and directly applicable to practical work." Much of the content can be used in work from the day after completion, and there are plans to expand its use as a core part of new employee training in the future. By systematizing education that was difficult to achieve through on-site management, the aim is to improve technical capabilities throughout the entire company.

HR Provision Co., Ltd.
For new graduates and mid-career hires in the technical department.
We are creating an environment where students can learn the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical engineering in one place.
We introduced Start Engineer to enable new graduates and mid-career hires assigned to the technical department to acquire a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering in a short period of time. The deciding factor in our selection was that it is a "one-stop training" program that allows them to learn multiple areas at once. The ability to flexibly select the courses we want them to take, even within the limited time before they start work, is also a major advantage.
After implementation, a common training line was established for both new graduates and mid-career hires, making on-the-job training smoother. The fact that it includes not only mechanical engineering but also electrical and electronic engineering meets the needs of the workplace. The flexibility to discuss additional training is also reassuring.
Participants and supervisors have commented that the system is easy to understand and allows them to choose the necessary courses, and that it's helpful to be able to learn about electrical and electronic engineering as well. It is being used on a daily basis. Requests for future improvements include simplifying participant registration, adding a function for additional learning after tests, and a system that makes it easier to check progress. We hope that all of these will be considered as positive improvement suggestions.
